Ocean Tides

We have had questions about how the moon affects tides in class lately. Here is a short video that explains it.

    I think it's really interesting how the tides work and how much the sun and the moon have to do with it.

    i think it is cool that tides happen i mean i did not know about it, and how the sun and moon have something to do with them makes it more cool.;)

    i think it is cool win the sun and the moon are lined up or on opposite sides it makes there be super high tides and super low tides.

    I think it is awesome that someone can figure out that something going on on the Earth can have something to do with the moon.

    I think the sun moon and tide video was very interesting. He did the video in a cool way by representing everything with a cooking, and pink chocolate chip, it think that was a great way to simulate the tide-system.
    I also think the guy explained it well. I think it is also interesting at how the moon is soooo far away, it'll still effect Earth.

    I think its pretty cool how it all works that when the sun and the moon are in different ways it creates low and high tides.

    i feel kind of dumb saying this but i didn't know that the sea was an oval i thought it was a circle.Also i didn't know that was how the tide worked.it's super fun and i learned alot

    The sun is boss and learned of a lot of stuff about this it was awsome to watch the viedo I learned a lot of stuff.Its also fun to learn about stuff that i didnt know wich makes it cooler.:D :D :D :D :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

    I think it's really cool that the sun and moon can do so much even though they're far away. Also how he represented everything (he was talking about)with food. It's also really cool that when the sun and moon are aligned that we get super high and low tides.

    I think it's a really interesting way of showing a the example because I have never seen
    a type of video like that one before. Also, I think it's really cool because it is weird. I like the way he explained it.

    I thought it was really funny how he explained it with food and not something else, and it wa a bit hard to understand with that accent he had. Jenny
